David Adamson

David Adlai Adamson is the founder and manager of EcoBuild Inc, a green building material broker,manufacturers representative and consulting firm. The firm’s goal is to facilitate the creation of very low environmental impact buildings and developments. Past consulting clients include the City of Aspen, Land andStructure (a Telluride based architect and developer), H & L ArchitectureLtd., Chamberlin Architects and the U.S. Department of Interior, Continuum Partners, and McStain Enterprises. David helped to create and is part owner of Planetary Solutions Inc. a retailer of environmentally sound interior finishes (1992-1995). He was co-founder andgeneral manager of the Building Products Division of Eco-Products, a building materials retailer (1996-1999). Bothcompanies are based in Boulder, Colorado.

In his efforts to improve the quality and health of buildings and to reduce their environmental impact, David helped to establish the Built Green Program of the MetroDenver Home Builders Association. David is a former employee of environmental organizationssuch as The Nature Conservancy, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (founding executive director), the Keystone Science School and Outward Bound. He was born in Boulder, Colorado and has lived throughout the United States and in Europe. He is a LEED accredited professional and a1981 graduate of Harvard University. He lives with his wife and two sons in arecently completed “net zero impact” strawbale solar powered home/office in Boulder.
