Tom Coalson , PMP, LEED AP, has spent nearly four decades as an “environmental builder”.

Besides building, Tom has also been in the design and project management in state-of-the-art, sustainable transit oriented development (TOD), and a number of commercial mixed-use project all designed to achieve one level of sustainability or another long before building “Green” was fashionable.

As the Vice President of Sustainable Construction for a Colorado residential developer, Tom pioneered that company’s first successful development in what will become Colorado’s first “Net-Zero” (heating, cooling and hot water) residential subdivision.

A leader with both hands-on and on-site sustainable construction experience, Tom provides an interactive teaching method and engaging discussion in his building science workshops.
